What is a roller brake test?
The roller brake test measures how effective your brakes are. All vehicles must have one, including cars and is usually carried out during a routine MOT. However, for larger, commercial vehicles, these brake tests are usually carried out by a specialist, as there are lots of components that make up the test.

We invest in the latest equipment to ensure that we measure your vehicle’s braking ability effectively. Our calibrated roller brake tester can test for individual brake performance and overall braking efficiency.
We have a loaded test trailer and test weights on site as all brake tests must simulate real road conditions. No tests should be carried out without the weight of the vehicle reflecting what it would be on the road. We can organise all of this for you.
